EORS 2014 Nantes

Dear colleague,

The EORS 2014 Organizing Committee is happy to announce the following workshops in the scientific programme:

The European Society for Biomaterials, an EORS Sister Society, will host a dedicated workshop on “developing advanced materials for medical applications”.

REBORNE, a FP7 collaborative project focusing on bone regeneration using mesenchymal stem cells and biomaterials, will share their “Results of on-going multicentre clinical trials on delayed union fractures and osteonecrosis of femoral heads”.

BIOCERAMICS
Prof. Guy Daculsi, President of the International Society of Ceramics in Medicine, will host a workshop on “synthetic bone substitutes made of biphasic calcium phosphate in orthopaedic surgery”.

We’re also happy to announce the participation of the following Industry Partners:

Bone & Joint Research, the Official Journal of EORS, is a gold open access journal included in PubMed and available in PubMed Central.  BJR accepts papers across the whole spectrum of the musculoskeletal sciences.

Materialise develops software for converting medical images to 3D models. We often launch new products like our new X-ray module at the EORS Annual Meeting as it’s a great platform for sharing research and product development.

Biomatlante is a French manufacturer of synthetic bone graft solutions, which are the results of an international collaboration between scientist experts in bone architecture.
